song 2 - blur music video

"Promising Start..."

date: November 23, 2007

I liked the Frame by frame Line thing at the start, and it was a shame you didn't carry it on (yes I know it takes a long time, but then the song is only 2 minutes and a bit long). I didn't understand the weird face either. The guitar guy was also OK. A thing to add is a slightly darker tone towards the outlines of things- it helps. The school burning, try making the flames move- it makes it look much more real.

But seriously, parts like where the man pushes the woman looks very irregular- you've just motion tweened it. The bits where no background (white) should have some, I think you'd get away with putting words for one or two sections, but you could have put the words on a T.V.

A good part was during the "Woo-Hoo!", there were only two actions. That part I liked. I think it was too literal (in a bad way) wherwe the person was touching the others hair during the "When I feel heavy metal", maybe you could have a look at the lyrics :) The muffin sections were just a gap filler too. However, I did like the guy slipping- an example of good animation.

A bit I quite liked was when the mouths of the pictures were moving, like in Fonejacker or some Monty Python stuff. I think it ccan be improved on greatly, but then it would be really good.

"For your first game, its fantastic"

It was really good- the concept, the design etc. was really good. I liked the themes- water, etc. The obstacles were good- I think that the circle spinning things were a bit hard though...

It needs music- i think some icy music would be good- techno might fit in, i'm not sure. Maybe you could have as well as levels, themes- 10 levels of ice, 10 levels of fire and brimstone etc. I also think you could have made different shaped blocks rather then just squares. Another idea i think would be good is to show wind etc. with an occasional wind thingy moving across the screen. And just maybe, a choice of easy, medium or hard.

This game was really good. I think you should have expanded on your initial ideas... well done

ImminentII - Resilience

"Good game, but needs a lot of improvement"

date: November 10, 2007

Your game is quite good, but in my opinion, the last game was better. This game had a lot of bugs. I got tonnes of money for shooting one thing (couple hundred thousand).

One reason why I liked the prequel was that the graphics were good. In this- being frankly honest, black blobs. I also think that there weren't enough weapons-I liked the mortar idea- only except that the mortar didn't do any damage. Also, there were much less weapons. Only about 10. In the last one, there were at least 20 including upgrades.

There were many bugs. I have seen the following:

- Tonnes of money for killing air (Ie nothing)
- On the infinite mode, in Level 20, I just died when there was nothing there, and whatever killed me did something like 900 damage.

I liked the design, I thought the loader and menu were amazing, though a bit confusing. I also didn't like the backgrounds- there were only 2. On the pasue menu, you had to guess what the buttons did, since there were no labels.

So, to improve it, I think that you should:

- Try to ensure there aren't any bugs
- Try harder on the graphics- like Imminent I
- Make labels for menus
- Make more weapons
- Make 'turrets' that are auto-controlled that can be upgraded.
- Make boss levels
- Cheats?
- Maybe create soldiers that kill units... or that just might make it rubbish and slow
- Make 3 Save Slots

I know that was a lot of suggestions, but I hope it helps :)

Hitler's SongRap

"That was randomly weird"

submission: Hitler's SongRap

The sounds are nothing near German. The other bit with two people sounded like 2 ladies who got high on helium. Then there was a French accent.
Somehow it reminds me like something by the Black Eye Peas from my cousins music library where there was an echo.
