Yor batting average can be found by searching your NG username (or whoever's NG account you want to find out) by searching on the top search bar (next to the tank at the top of the page)

1.5 What is your Batting Average
The FAQ is wrong so there you go- Your Batting Average is your top 3 scoring Flash's average. i.e. A user's top 3 are submission scores are 3.00 3.50 and 3.20. These are added together and divided by 3 to get a batting Average. So 3.00+3.20+3.50= 9.70
9.70/3= 3.23.

1.6 Can I get more than 10 Exp. a Day
No, just the 10 after you make a userpage- you could have earned more in the past by introducing users BUT it was abused so SCREW THOSE FAGGOTS

1.7 Whats a Vagrant and How do you turn into a NG User
A Vagrant is someone without a profile (in the old Newgrounds). now, on the BBS page, there is no link when you click the link. So, you have to copy and paste/type in tit like this:

<insert username>.newgrounds.com

replace "<username>" with the user's NG username. You can change from a vagrant to a Newgrounds User by adding something here (how many is unknown- General Information)

1.8 What do the Auras Mean?
It means you like a colour:
Light means you like blue
Neutral means you like green
Dark means you like grey
Evil means you are like red
Fab (short for fabulous) means you like pink

Before the re-design, and even before that, your aura meant your voting habits.

1.9 How does one obtain yellow aura?
You need to become a moderator- any- Forum, Review, Audio OR Icon Moderator

1.10 When are the NG Holidays
There are two types- one that are one-off, others which are annual-

Annual
"Star Day: April 23rd
Pico Day (also known to some as TomFulp day): April 30th
Lock Day: May 26th
Glock Day: July 18th
Kitty Day: July 25th (first time this year)
Clock day: August 15th
Anti-Clock day: August 26th"

For those that are really thick, look at where Mindchamber's level icon should be- To do this, you need to become an administrator which will take you forever.

2.4 When I try to Put my News Post on the Front Page (when I'm editing it) the link doesn't work, why?
You need to have submitted a flash... then it appears in the "Author's News" Section

3.1 Why isnt My Whistle Level Going Up?

Standard Procedure- Add Them to Your Block Contact List and Delete Their PM and move on in life and DO NOT MAKE A BBS THREAD ABOUT IT OR YOU COULD BE BANNED

Easy, Click "Abusive" and get on with Life, Review Mods will delete it and move on in life DO NOT MAKE A BBS THREAD ABOUT IT OR YOU COULD BE BANNED

3.4 I'm a Dumb Fuck, I posted Chain Mail in reviews, I dont want to be banned forever, What Do I do?

3.5 How can I see my Reviews
[28/09/07] You can see it by accessing target's userpage and clicking review.

3.6 My review just got deleted, but it isn't abusive- why did it get deleted then?
Well, it may break the review rules which can be found in the FAQ (Ctrl+F, then type review, then it will be highlighted and all you do is click!). If you are still not sure, ask it here... (the news post for those who are really that idiotic)

3.7 What is an Abusive Review?
Here is the best guide to abusive reviews on NG (in my opinion)... Read it and if you have anymore questions, ask...

3.8 How does one Acquire Whistle Points?
There are 2 Ways of acquiring whistle points.

1) Flagging Reviews
The most common way. When you look at reviews, beneath them, you will see a

If the Review is abusive (Section 3.7), and you click abusive, after a certain number of flags, a review mod (section 7.3), will look at it, if it is abusive, it will be deleted and you will GAIN whistle points, if it is not, the flags will be cleared and you will LOSE whistle points.

2) Flagging Submissions Under Judgment
When a submission is under judgment, you will see a

""This movie is stolen.
This movie is malicious (e.g. auto-spawns pop-up windows).
This movie is unsuitable (e.g. hardcore adult, porn slideshow, hateful, illegal)."

If it does break any rules, click which one that applies, after a certain number of flags (Section 3.9; just below) , it will be under administrative review, an administrator (Section 7.1) will delete it if it does break a rule and you gain whistle points.

So,
IF YOU FLAG A REVIEW, and it is deleted, you GAIN WHISTLE POINTS
IF YOU FLAG A REVIEW, and it is not deleted, YOU LOSE WHISTLE POINTS, however, they can clear it without negative penalty points, but only rarely, and in special circumstances.

IF YOU FLAG A SUBMISSION UNDER JUDGMENT, and it is BLAMMED, and it doesn't go under administrative review, your whistle points DO NOT CHANGE
IF YOU FLAG A SUBMISSION UNDER JUDGMENT, and it is PROTECTED,and it doesn't go under administrative review, your whistle points DO NOT CHANGE
IF YOU FLAG A SUBMISSION UNDER JUDGMENT, and it goes under administrative review, and it is DELETED, your whistle points RISE
IF YOU FLAG A SUBMISSION UNDER JUDGMENT, and it goes under administrative review and is NOT deleted, your whistle points become less

Since submissions are rarer. Also, Rage's gift to you: Abusive reviews is a thread where people put abusive reviews, however, some links aren't abusive, so it's your fault if you get a garbage.

3.9 How many Flags are required for a review to be deleted?
A review will be brought to the attention of a review moderator (Section 7.3) if there are enough flags. Different whistles have different flagging powers:

A garbage whistle has a flag power of 0.00
A normal whistle has a flag power between 1.00 and 1.99
A bronze whistle has a flag power between 2.00 and 2.99
A silver whistle has a flag power between 3.00 and 3.99
A gold whistle has a flag power between 4.00 and 4.99
A deity whistle has a fixed flag power of 5.00

If the total number of flags>4.00, it will be brought to the attention of a review moderator. Also, a moderator can delete any review if they are new - i.e written within the past two weeks.

However, moderators cannot delete old reviews unless they are above the 4 flags range, and the said moderator themselves has cannot delete a review if their flag pushes it over the limit, however, if more whistles flag that review after that mod flags over the limit, then that said moderator can then delete that review.

Section 4- Ideas and Icons

4.1 I can't submit Icons, Why?
It should be fixed now... However, if you can't, try clearing your cache (Section 6.7), or using a different browser

4.2 I have the World's Most AMAZING IDEA for NG, what do I do?

Section 5-The Audio Portal

5.1 I just submitted An Audio Submission to The Audio Portal, Why Hasn't it Appeared?
from the FAQ:
"Q: Why doesn't my audio submission appear instantly in the Audio Portal like it does in the Flash Portal?

A: Audio submissions go through an approval process. We do this because it's much easier to pass off stolen audio submissions as original work than it is for movies and games. Once users become approved they may continue to submit original tracks and loops."

6.2 A BBS topic just disappeared... why?
It was probably deleted by a mod or admin. If you had read the thread, it will be in your history (unless you delete you history every minute to hide the fact that you look at porn even though your underaged) . To access your history, simply press Ctrl+H and if you have a smart browser (presumably Firefox), type the name of the topic (or just the first word or even letter(s), you should find it...

It could have also broken forum rules (Section 6.1 Topic just above)

6.3 What is a Forum Signature?
A sig is some text that always appears below your forum posts (e.g. my one begins with "Random Daily Thought" and also, you can add a picture too, (where mine says "I SPAMMED YOUR NEWS POST"...

6.4 Where can I add a Sig?
Here, remember that it must be either .jpeg or .gif format and must be bigger then 20*20 pixels and smaller than 550*50 pixels

6.5 I Just made the World's Most Awesome Animated Sig, why can't I upload it?

6.6 What is a Spam Topic?

To make words grey, it's really simple, simply put a colon ":" and a space at the front of a line. So, your post should look like:

This also automatically does it if you quote someone (click "Reply & Quote") and their text will be grey to show you have quoted.

3) P- BOT Portal- Bot- It gives post information in posts (in forums) about the Audio Portal. It also gives you an email if you submit an entry into the Flash Portal and tells if it is blammed.

All the Bots have their own icons AND have purple aura.

NOTE: You can not become a bot, you are in real life! A bot is a computer program!

Reviews/ Review Modding- and 'Why review rules are what they are'- This is where you can ask questions about reviews and his modding. He replies within 3 days (normally). It also includes an explanation of review rules. Due to the fact there are two sections, I am giving it a 9/10

NG Log [External Site]- This is a site where you can keep yourself up to date with your stats. Except for that, it doesn't do much, so 6/10

Rage's gift to you: Abusive reviews is a thread where people put abusive reviews, however, some links aren't abusive, so it's your fault if you get a garbage, due to the unreliability factor; 6/10

Bannable posts and BBS rules, ala Zerok- This is a news post that tells you what you can't post and the consequences are if you do post it. HOWEVER (and this is the big fat but,) you can't post comments unless you are a mod and you will have to PM him. Because of that big but, I give it a 6/10.

Section 7; I don't think all of the staff have admin status. Wade, Tom, Liljim, Ross, Tim are i belive. When they're online on the BBS their name is in red, and when they post they have a slightly different shade of white to their posts.
Bob I belive is on the BBS mod-team, I don't know if he's like that for testing purpose only, or what the deal is.
So as far as I know, there are 10 people in the staff, but only 5 admins.
They were supposed to make "super admins" (wade, tom, liljim) and have a "normal" admins status, maybe that will happen. maybe you knew all of this already, but in case you didn't you might want to add this up. at least the facts. But whatever, there are probably other users who know this better than i do.

it would be quicker to just find out myself i guess... or, to find out who the mods are, i could be ultra-dysfunctional and just go PMing all the mods and end up being hated by all... :) I should have got them all now... or at least the more 'active' ones (except the new mods if any)

Fixed... It is quite hard to find out who the mods are since:

1) there is no official list except for the BBS mods
2) most mods dont put what mods they are in their sigs/userpage/somewhere else

Actually, it all started as a block of text... the it was in paragraphs and then now I've had the time to make a contents...

Only kidding... according to the review rules, you shouldn't offend the author ("the author is a bitch" is offending the author), if you think that it didn't deserve the front page, just keep your opinion to yourself. Same if you think it should have been blammed. If you think the flash was stolen, email wadefulp at Wadefulp@newgrounds.com giving a link of the 'original' version.

Ascii is not allowed in reviews, except for short ones (5 letters maximum, i'd say) and if you want to reply to other revieweers, don't because if others are deleted, it looks weird and irrelevant. Also, review space is to review, not to reply to others.

Promoting outside space (in your case; 4chan), is not allowed, otherwise, NG's review space would be another youtube comments page, you review to talk about the author's work, not to promote outside stuff.

Also, you should calm down (i know it's yourself), you broke the rules and you were banned for that reason. (Very lenient actually), you can be banned and have your account deleted for posting outside links you know?

Before you start reviewing again, I'd advise you to read the Review rules (this one has an explanation too) here:

Before the Re-design everybody was sent an e-mail every time one of their fav authors submitted a new flash. I don't get sent an e-mail about this now. Why? Have they stopped sending those types? I almost missed Industruc2tank because I wasn't sent an e-mail that it was submitted.

Please help I missed so many other great flashes. Has that feature been cancelled?

No, in fact, I've had more- some in the last month. You may have blocked newgrounds from sending you stuff- so it may have ended up in your junk mail folder/bin. You could also have changed email and forgot to change it on NG.

No I havn't blocked NGs e-mails. And I havn't changed my e-mail becasue I still receive Top Daily 5 and stuff from the bots.
